What to expect when you visit us.
Sunday School - We have a class for everyone. Even if your child is too young to be in our Pre-Primary class we always have nursery and toddler staff on call. Let's take a minute so you get an idea of what the morning is like. Sunday School begins at 9:30 am and runs for one hour. Each class has it's own room on the lower level of the church. All our children's classes use Regular Baptist Press material, the teachers of our older classes prepare lessons appropriate for their age group. Below is a list of classes and the ages or grades they consist of.
Pre-Primary class - (age 3 - Kindergarten)
Primary class - (first - third grade)
Junior class - (fourth - sixth grade)
Junior High class - (seventh - ninth grade)
Senior High class - (tenth - twelfth grade)
College & Career class - (post H.S. - age 30) (flexible)
Adult class - (Adults)
Our Sunday School offering is set aside for a program called Bethesda Outreach Ministries which goes to help care for orphans in Africa that have lost their parents to AIDS. For more information on this program go to Bethesdaoutreach.org.
Even after Sunday School is over, Children's Church and Junior Church begin. The pre-primaries, primaries and juniors have their own class down stairs while junior high through adults meet in the auditorium. You can visit the "Church Staff" page to see the teachers by class. We hope that you will join us Sunday Morning at 9:30!
Type of Music - The music we use in our services is a traditional style music also called a hymn. If you have ever heard Amazing Grace, that is a hymn. All our music is about the same style.
